Diabetic Education
Our Diabetes Education Program at Van Diest Medical Center is certified by the ADA and State of Iowa.
We offer education to patients and outpatients regarding diabetes management. Individuals can schedule office visits with the Diabetes Nurse Educator and Registered Dietitian for review of diet or self-management concerns.

Family members or other caregivers can receive instruction at the same time at no additional cost. Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support is offered through the Specialty Clinic at Van Diest Medical Center. Appointments can be scheduled Monday afternoons and on the first and third Wednesday mornings of each month. A physician referral is required.
