Welcome to Van Diest Medical Center

Van Diest Medical Center has been the premier healthcare facility in Hamilton County, Iowa, for over 100 years. We are committed to providing the highest quality care to patients, and dedicated to improving the quality of life for our families and communities throughout central Iowa. As an affiliate of MercyOne, Van Diest Medical Center is partnered with MercyOne. With this affiliation, the Board of Trustees maintains complete control of the hospital operations and management expertise, while taking advantage of the cost savings and educational offerings available to larger, tertiary facilities such as MercyOne.

As the hospital continues to grow and change, we strive to remain a constant caring organization, meeting the healthcare needs of those we serve.
