Kasaiah Makam, MD, FAAC
Dr. Makam is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology. He received his medical degree from Zaporozhye State Medical University on Zaporozhye, Ukraine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas in 2013 and served as Chief Medical Resident from 2013-2014. He was a Cardiovascular Diseases Fellow for Christiana Care Health Systems in Delaware and later Dr. Makam was an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey.
He has worked as an Interventional Cardiologist for Cardiology Associates of Altoona. He currently sees patients at Iowa Heart Center in Fort Dodge.
Alexandria Doyle, ARNP
Alexandria Doyle, ARNP is a native of Northwest Iowa, growing up in the small town of Calumet, Iowa. Prior to joining Iowa Heart Center, while obtaining her BSN degree, she worked as a nursing assistant at the University of Iowa. After graduating with her BSN from the University of Iowa and passing boards, she worked as a Medical-Surgical nurse and ICU nurse in Cedar Falls and Waterloo, Iowa.
Alex then joined the Iowa Heart Center team at the Fort Dodge office in January 2014. Initially she worked as an office nurse, later transitioning to the Cardiology Nurse Practitioner role in November 2015 after earning her Masters of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Allen College in Waterloo, Iowa. Alex is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
