Radiology
The Radiology Department at Van Diest Medical Center is committed to providing excellent care and customer service, creating peace of mind for each and every patient.
Patients receive the latest in high-quality diagnostic and treatment imaging services with state-of-the-art equipment. Our radiologists and physicians work closely to provide patients with the best possible treatment.
Staying abreast of the changing technology is important to us. The equipment used in the Radiology Department is kept current with advances in the radiology field of medicine. The department is completely digital, which allows imaging studies to be accessed by a radiologist 24 hours a day for interpretation on the same day the image is taken. This technology also allows us to send images to any location.
The Radiology Department is covered around the clock by ARRT registered radiologic technologists, many of whom hold advanced certifications in areas such as CT and mammography. Our radiologic technologists also hold the ARDMS Ultrasound Certification. All the radiologic technologists hold a permit to practice radiography through the Iowa Department of Public Health.
