New Family Medicine Physician To Join VDFHC
It is with great pleasure that we share Caleb Glawe, MD, board certified Family Medicine physician, will be joining Van Diest Medical Center as our newest physician in March 2020.
Dr. Glawe (pronounced “gloy”) received his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University and completed his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Matthews University in Grand Cayman Island. He completed his Family Medicine residency through the University of Iowa. Dr. Glawe has been practicing medicine for ten years, providing clinic, emergency department, inpatient and skilled care services to patients. Prior to joining Van Diest Medical Center, he worked for Boone County Hospital at Boone County Family Medicine in Ogden, Iowa.
Dr. Glawe will join us as of March 2, 2020, and will start seeing patients Monday through Thursday at Van Diest Family Health Clinic in Webster City, beginning March 9, 2020. Having grown up on a Century Farm, Dr. Glawe maintains interest in farming and agriculture, specifically Iowa farming. Outside of his medical practice, he enjoys pheasant hunting, fishing, reading, volunteering at Ames Christian School (where his daughter attends) and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Angela, and their 10-year-old daughter, Alexa, reside in Boone, Iowa, and are avid Iowa State football fans and like all things Disney.
