Dr. Tim Mayfield completed both his medical degree and general surgery residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. He sought further training in advanced laparoscopic surgery in Shawnee Mission, KS, and moved to West Des Moines to be closer to family, after completing his fellowship. He is a trusted surgeon in central Iowa, serving the Des Moines metro area, as well as surrounding communities.
