Medical Interests
I am a family physician-sociologist with a passion for chronic disease management, breastfeeding advocacy, transgender health, and research in pain, suffering, and grief. Through processes of patient and community-engaged research, I seek to understand the pain and grief of suffering in order to support delivery of more comprehensive care. I love to mentor future and current medical students and family medicine residents. I want to be a comprehensive and thorough first point of contact for patients and create a compassionate partnership for wellness.
